When did we start ?

MHL Air Freight Department was added to our portfolio in 2015 and it has registered a rapid growth and development ever since. It allows us to cater to our customer’s requirements when it comes down to time-critical cargo.

We are partners with all the airlines carrying out their activity in Romania as we are IATA accreditated agent. Our main carriers are: Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airlines, Emirates Airlines. Our secondary carriers are: Air France / KLM, Lufthansa, LOT Polish Airlines and others.

What are our main origin and destination airports?

MHL is offering a wide range of air shipping possibilities from the main Romanian airport: Otopeni (OTP) – International Henri Coanda Airport, Bucharest. Additionally, trucking (RFS), consolidated or dedicated service, may often be a good option to reach freighters from our main hubs in Europe to any destination in the world. Some of our traditional export destinations are: Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Dammam, Dubai, Chicago, Atlanta.

Through a large worldwide network of agents and partners, MHL can cover all kind of air import requests. We handle shipments arriving in Otopeni airport and arrange any necessary handlings and import formalities, as requested by customers. We are using Frankfurt airport as our main european hub and as an alternative to Otopeni airport. Like this we can access a whole range of airlines along with their very competitive air rates. We established good collaboration with agents in China, Thailand, USA, Canada, Lebanon, Taiwan, India, Singapore, Russia among others.

MHL`s Air Freight office is located in Bucharest, but we are well represented in Otopeni airport also, by our long term customs broker located right in the cargo area. With a highly experienced team, we can do all types of customs formalities and offer support for any kind of customs-related operations.

Additional logistics services can be offered where needed and requested by our customers: special permits and authorizations, cargo checking, packing or repacking, quantity and quality control, documents processing, etc. Road transfer to/from the airport is always provided by our reliable inland trucking partners.
