India Launches National Container Line

India has unveiled ambitious plans to launch a national container shipping line, Bharat Container Line (BCL), which will operate an initial fleet of 100 ships. This initiative aims to reduce dependence on foreign carriers, strengthen India’s role in global trade, and improve export logistics.
